What we do

We’ll take care of the entire import process, including:

• Collection from popular auction houses and dealers
• Secure and compliant storage of your firearms at our UK warehouse whilst awaiting import approval 

• Submitting and obtaining an ATF import permit on your behalf

• Handling USA Customs entry and clearance procedures

• Settling any applicable USA duties and fees (these will be invoiced separately)

• Applying ATF-compliant markings/engraving to the firearm

• Arranging tracked and insured shipping to your chosen FFL (domestic transfer charges invoiced separately)

How does it work? 

Step 1. 

Congratulations on your purchase! The first step to getting your newly acquired firearm Stateside is to send your invoice (that includes your name, address, email address and phone number) to our team so that we can begin the import process (please check our FAQ page to see what is barred from import). We require the following details of the firearm you wish to import: 

• Make
• Model
• Caliber/Gauge
• Barrel length
• Overall length
• Country of manufacture
• Year of manufacture
• Price paid for the item 
• Whether the firearm comes in a hard case 

Please also provide the name of the Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder who will be receiving the firearm on your behalf.

Tip: Confirm the transfer and background check fees with your local FFL dealer before shipping.

Step 2. 

Sit back and relax whilst our team submit the application for your firearm(s) to Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (ATF) for the import permit. This usually takes between eight and twelve weeks, but may take longer if ATF require further documentation.

Step 3.

Once your firearm has been approved for import, you will be notified by our shipping team in the UK and issued with an invoice. Your item will then be carefully packed onto our next consolidated shipment from London Heathrow Airport to Dulles Airport, VA where it will be processed through customs. 

Step 4.  

Once your item has cleared customs, we receive it at our warehouse in the USA. You will be issued with an invoice to settle the US import duties. Once this is paid, we carefully re-package and deliver your firearm to your chosen FFL (or your permanent residence if it is a non-licensed item).
